LP7110 shear beam load cell combines alloy steel or stainless steel elastomer with a high precision strain gauge to produce a reliable weighing load cell. It is a high accuracy, low profile shear beam available in a wide range of capacities. Full stainless steel or alloy steel construction with potted environmental sealing provides an economical solution for a broad range of weighing applications. Available with a range of load introduction systems, the blind hole variant combined with self-aligning load feet ensure optimum weighing accuracy. This product can be used in industrial scale (platform scale, hopper scale, belt scale, etc), weighing module, and force measuring equipment.

1. How do I connect a 6 wire load cell to a 4 wire connector?
When connecting a 6-wire load cell to a 4-wire connector, the signal wires should be connected in the same place as the excitation wires. The Sig+ wire should be installed together with the Exc+ wire into the Exc+ connection. The Sig- wire should be installed together with the Exc- wire into the Exc- connection.

2. Will changing the length of the cable affect the output sensitivity of a load cell?
Yes, it will. However, there is a difference between load cells with 4-wire and 6-wire connection. 6-wire load cells will still conform the calibration certificate which is delivered with it when they are connected as 6-wire load cells. The 4-wire load cells might have different values from the calibration certificate. When the cutting of the cable is necessary or can't be avoided, please make sure to cut all cables to equal length.

3. How do I know what the accuracy of my load cell is?
The accuracy of the load cells is stated on the data sheet which can be found on our website. 

4. Would it be possible to design a custom made load cell for me?
Yes, we can make a customized load cell for your application. Please keep in mind that a minimum order quantity might be required.
